Romain Taupenot has started a small négociant operation that is presently primarily centered around wines from Nuits St. Georges and in particular from the Hospices de Nuits.
"This is aromatically quite similar to the Cuvée Cabet save for slightly more earth influence. Otherwise the medium-bodied flavors possess both more volume and a bit more mid-palate concentration as well before concluding in a dusty, moderately austere and somewhat more structured finish that delivers better overall depth and persistence on the equally firm finish."
