In 1983, Alfonso Chadwick took control of Viña Errázuriz, and asked his son Eduardo to work with him. No longer playing polo & aware of the great potential of the area’s terroir, Alfonso allowed his son Eduardo to plant vineyards over his beloved polo fields. Don Alfonso
passed away in 1993 and never saw the finished wine.
Viñedo Chadwick represents the family’s long-cherished desire to honour the memory of the late Don Alfonso Chadwick Errázuriz with an exceptional wine that showcases the ancestry and tradition.
