Chateau Fourcas-Borie was originated from the union of the estates of Clos du Fourcas and Moulin du Bourg which are amongst the oldest vineyards of the village. It is located on the north of Listrac- Médoc. Chateau Fourcas-Borie aims at producing a fine and elegant top-quality wine. Indeed, great efforts are being made regarding both the cultivation of the vineyard and the elaboration of the wine. Three grape varieties can be found in this 30-hectare property: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, the vineyard's average being about 30. Chateau Fourcas-Borie allies subtle fruity nuances with the fineness of flexible and unctuous tannins. Elegant and racy, its great ageing potential allows wine-lovers to forget it for a while and let it slowly assert itself.
