Pajzos Tokaji Esszencia 2013 (1x37.5cl)

The Tokaj wine region has belonged to the UNESCO World Heritage since 2002. Wines created here have a distinct minerality and a wonderful acidity. In the 16th century, Tokaji wines became the favoured drink at the royal Hungarian court and the ruling families of Europe. Louis XIVth also regarded it as simply the “king of wines”. On this south-, southwest-facing land of Pajzos Vineyard with excellent attributes, the ground has excellent heat-retaining properties with grapes ripen beautifully and become supreme aszú berries. Thanks to the humidity of that area, Botrytis is developed with lovely  characteristics. The Pajzos Esszencia 2013 exhibits a bright sunny colour. The nose shows very complex aromas of honey, caramel, raisin, melted with apricot, Tatin tart and candied grapefruit. Super-sweet and salivating on the palate, the pineapple, candied quince, acacia honey, come along ginger and thyme flavours. The soft and creamy texture comes ahead an endless finish.
