CÔTES DE LA CHARITÉ "Pinot Beurrot" is the Burgundian name for Pinot Gris. We use this variety to make a wine that is splendidly round, full and unctuous with a long finish. Notes of dried fruit, apricot, honey and mead mingle with aromas of gingerbread, vanilla, almonds and fresh butter. After the greyish pink grapes are harvested, hand-selected and pressed, the wine is fermented and matured in demi-muid (600 litre) barrels. Its complexity and balance develop in contact with the wood for 9 to 12 months.
