Herdade do Peso is situated in the Pedrogão, commune of Vidígueira - a name associated with the abundance of vines, because of the importance of this agriculture throughout the ages in the region. Herdade do Peso includes a dam, which occupies an area of 20 hectares and provides much-prized water to irrigate the vineyard and extensive olive grove.
