Tasting notes
The 2023 'Jungle Jungle' Dolcetto presents a vivid ruby hue in the glass. The aromatic profile is dominated by primary fruit notes of ripe black cherry, wild plum, and a hint of redcurrant, underpinned by subtle earthy nuances and a characteristic whisper of bitter almond. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, with a medium body and supple tannins that provide structure without astringency. The acidity is bright, carrying the dark fruit flavours through to a clean, persistent finish. This is a wine crafted for immediate pleasure, offering both varietal typicity and a refreshing Australian interpretation.
