Domaine Aimé Arnoux

A small southern Rhône domaine working in Gigondas and Vacqueyras, two neighbouring appellations on the eastern side of the valley below the Dentelles de Montmirail.

The range

Sélection Parcellaire Gigondas is the wine we carry in depth — a Grenache-led blend, as the appellation requires. The domaine's Vacqueyras 1717 and its Viognier Chardonnay come through in smaller quantities.

What to expect

Gigondas and Vacqueyras are where southern Rhône drinkers go when Châteauneuf-du-Pape stops making sense on price. Same grapes, same latitude, one appellation boundary away, and roughly half the money. This is a warm-climate red: full-bodied, generous, and better with food than on its own.

Serve at 16–18°C, decanted an hour ahead.
