Jeeper

Jeeper is a small Champagne house, and small in Champagne means something specific: fewer base wines to blend from, so every decision shows up in the glass. What people get wrong is assuming small automatically means better. It means less hidden. A large house can average a difficult harvest across dozens of villages. A small one cannot, which is why its wines tend to taste like a point of view rather than a house signature.

The range divides by grape and by dosage. Grand Assemblage sits at the entry as a straightforward blend. Grande Reserve and Grand Rose carry more weight and more reserve wine. Grand Blanc de Blancs is all Chardonnay, tighter and more mineral, built around acidity rather than breadth. Extra Brut Naturelle strips the dosage back so the base wine has nowhere left to hide.

Paying more here buys concentration and lower sugar, not more fruit. If you like Champagne round and forgiving, the extra money can work against you: the Extra Brut is the least crowd-pleasing bottle in the range and, for some drinkers, the most interesting one. Match the bottle to the table rather than to the price.
