Louis Dousset, a distinguished grower Champagne house, meticulously crafts this 'Original Brut NV' as a definitive expression of their terroir and winemaking philosophy. Sourced from their own vineyards, this cuvée embodies the classic regional typicity of Champagne. The blend, predominantly composed of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay, is carefully balanced to achieve a harmonious profile. Following the méthode traditionnelle, the wine undergoes extended ageing on its lees, imparting complexity and a fine autolytic character. This 37.5cl format offers an ideal presentation for intimate occasions or as an aperitif.
Tasting notes
On the nose, delicate aromas of green apple, citrus zest, and toasted brioche emerge, underpinned by subtle floral notes. The palate is crisp and vibrant, with a fine mousse and a refreshing acidity that carries flavours of white peach and almond. A persistent, elegant finish with a hint of minerality.
