Cragganmore’s notoriously complex, flat-topped wash stills are renowned for producing one of Speyside’s most intricate and aromatic spirits. In this 2020 release of the Distillers Edition, the distillery’s structured malt character undergoes a secondary maturation in seasoned Port wood pipes, introducing a deep vinous richness without overshadowing the spirit's innate elegance.
The influence of the Port finishing lends a tailored sweetness and dark-fruited weight to Cragganmore’s signature herbal notes and faint whisper of peat smoke. Bottled at 40% ABV, it represents an outstanding study in balanced wood finishing for discerning collectors and Speyside enthusiasts alike.
