Champagne Henri Giraud is based in Aÿ, one of Champagne's Grand Cru villages. The Hémart family, whose line the Girauds continue, has grown vines in Aÿ since 1625. The house is known for fermenting in oak from the Argonne forest.
PR stands for Perpetual Reserve. Since 1990 the house has kept its reserve wines as perpetual reserves, and the PR series is blended from them.
PR Rosé 90-22 is a new wine in the range. It is built on PR 21-90, a perpetual reserve holding wines from 1990 to 2021, with 4% Aÿ Grand Cru still red wine added. Disgorged January 2026.

Tasting notes
James Suckling describes brioche, apple, honey and floral notes, then cranberry, strawberry and dried orange on a creamy, round palate, with a long finish. Vinous calls it "elegant and lifted".
