A Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot dominant blend, the wine is vinified with temperature-controlled precision before maturation in French oak barrels. This careful elevage yields a balance between ripe dark fruit intensity and structural poise, offering the gravelly elegance of Cantemerle with earlier drinking window accessibility.
Tasting notes
Deep garnet in appearance. The nose reveals expressive notes of blackcurrant, crushed blackberry, cedar, and subtle graphite. On the palate, medium-bodied fine-grained tannins frame a core of dark plum, tobacco leaf, and gentle baking spice, resolving into a fresh, balanced finish.
