Borco Finsbury Wild Strawberry Pink Gin (1x70cl)

Finsbury, a name synonymous with gin distillation heritage, presents its Wild Strawberry Pink Gin. This expression deviates from traditional London Dry profiles by incorporating a natural infusion of wild strawberries. The base spirit, distilled with a classic array of juniper and other botanicals, undergoes a careful maceration process to impart the fruit's delicate aromatics and characteristic hue. This approach prioritises the integration of fruit essence without overshadowing the gin's underlying botanical structure, resulting in a spirit that balances fruit-forward notes with a discernible gin character. It represents a contemporary interpretation within the gin category, appealing to palates seeking both complexity and approachability.

Tasting notes

The Finsbury Wild Strawberry Pink Gin presents a delicate, translucent rose hue in the glass. On the nose, an immediate and authentic bouquet of ripe wild strawberries emerges, harmoniously interwoven with classic juniper undertones and a subtle citrus zest. The palate reveals a refined balance; the natural sweetness of the strawberry is present but not saccharine, complemented by the gin's botanical backbone, offering notes of coriander and angelica. The texture is smooth and elegant, leading to a clean, medium-length finish where the fruit gently recedes, leaving a whisper of spice and juniper.
