High on the slope bordering Blagny, Les Ravelles occupies one of the coolest microclimates in the Meursault appellation. Chapelle de Blagny capitalises on this elevated terroir, where thin limestone soils over hard bedrock impart a remarkably chiseled structure to the Chardonnay fruit in the generous 2023 vintage.

Fermented and aged in French oak with minimal battonage, the winemaking respects the natural tension of this high-altitude vineyard. The result is a Premier Cru that trades heavy opulence for linear precision, mineral drive, and enduring cellar longevity.

Tasting notes

Aromas of wet chalk, lemon blossom, white peach, and subtly toasted hazelnut dominate the nose. The palate is razor-focused, featuring vibrant citrus acidity, a dense core of stony minerality, and an extended, saline-tinged finish.
