Coravin - Screw Caps 6 Packs (6 Pack Standard)

The Coravin Screw Caps (6-Pack Standard) represent an ingenious solution for extending the utility of the Coravin Wine Preservation System to bottles sealed with screw caps. Traditionally, Coravin systems were primarily associated with natural cork closures, allowing for extraction without removing the cork. With the increasing prevalence of screw caps on wines of significant quality and age-worthiness, this accessory bridges a critical gap for discerning collectors and professionals.

Each cap is engineered with a self-sealing silicone membrane, designed to accommodate the Coravin needle. Upon withdrawal, the membrane reseals, effectively preventing oxygen ingress and preserving the wine's integrity for weeks or even months. This innovation ensures that the nuanced aromatics and structural complexities of screw-capped wines can be explored and enjoyed by the glass, without the imperative to consume the entire bottle. It underscores a commitment to precision and flexibility in fine wine service and appreciation.

Tasting notes

While not a consumable product, the Coravin Screw Caps are instrumental in preserving the intrinsic aromatic and palatal integrity of wines sealed with screw caps. They ensure that each pour, whether weeks or months apart, faithfully represents the winemaker's original intent, allowing for an uncompromised tasting experience over an extended period.
