Glendronach 12 years old (1x70cl)
The GlenDronach distillery, nestled in the Forgue valley of the Eastern Highlands, is renowned for its unwavering commitment to traditional whisky-making methods. This 12-year-old expression exemplifies the distillery's signature style, showcasing a profound influence from its maturation regime. Aged in a combination of the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, this single malt undergoes a meticulous maturation process that imparts exceptional depth and complexity. The choice of these specific sherry butts is central to GlenDronach's character, contributing layers of rich fruit, spice, and a distinctive sweetness. It represents a benchmark for sherry-matured Highland whiskies, crafted without chill-filtration to preserve its inherent character and natural colour.
