Patron Reposado (1x75cl)

Patrón Reposado Tequila represents a meticulous expression of Jalisco's esteemed agave heritage. Crafted exclusively from 100% Weber Blue Agave, harvested at optimal maturity from both the highland and lowland regions of Jalisco, Mexico, this spirit undergoes a traditional production process.

The agave piñas are slow-baked in traditional brick ovens before being crushed by both a volcanic stone tahona wheel and a modern roller mill. Following fermentation, the spirit is double-distilled in small copper pot stills. The 'Reposado' designation signifies a period of maturation, with Patrón Reposado resting for over two months in a blend of oak barrels, including French, Hungarian, and American oak. This careful ageing regime imparts a refined smoothness and a nuanced complexity, balancing the vibrant agave character with subtle oak influences.

Tasting notes

The nose presents an inviting bouquet of fresh agave, complemented by delicate notes of oak, vanilla, and a hint of citrus zest. On the palate, a remarkably smooth entry reveals a harmonious interplay of cooked agave sweetness, subtle oak spice, and undertones of honey and light fruit. The texture is silken, leading to a medium-length finish that is both warm and clean, leaving lingering impressions of vanilla and a gentle oak presence.
