Variety & Style
Top-tier winemaking here typically means full barrel fermentation, lees stirring and longer maturation. The result is a Chardonnay that wins on texture and length rather than aroma — citrus and white stone fruit beneath layers of nuts, cream and minerality.

What to Expect
This wine needs the right glass, the right temperature and time. Do not serve it cold, do not use a small glass, and do not drink it the moment it is poured. If that sounds like too much trouble, Hexham (#8) or d'Soumah (#51) from the same estate are more relaxed.

12–13°C, large glass, 30 minutes open. Fine fish, shellfish, chicken, cream sauces. Cellars 8 years or more.
