⭐ Labelling it "Syrah" rather than "Shiraz" is a signal. Australian winemakers use "Syrah" to indicate they are chasing a cool-climate, northern Rhône profile: black pepper, violets and a savoury edge, medium bodied — not the jammy weight of warm regions.

What to Expect
If you buy Australian Shiraz for power and weight, this is not that wine. It is light, spicy and floral, and that is deliberate. With five years in bottle it is drinking well now.

15–16°C, lightly chilled works. Roast lamb, duck, peppered dishes, Chinese roast meats.
