Speyburn Rum Cask Single Malt (1x70cl)

Speyburn is a Speyside distillery. This single malt starts its life in bourbon casks, then moves into rum casks for its finish. The brand splits the aromas neatly between the two: pineapple, mango and warm banana come from the rum cask, while citrus zest and green apple come from the bourbon cask.

No age statement, bottled at 40% ABV, 70cl.

Awards: Silver at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Silver at the 2025 International Spirits Challenge and Silver at the 2025 International Wine & Spirits Competition.

Tasting notes

Colour: pale gold.

Nose: pineapple, mango and warm banana, with citrus zest and green apple.

Palate: tropical fruit, soft caramel and a dusting of cinnamon.

Finish: fresh vanilla.
