Underlying notes of dried fruit and a hint of vanilla suggest a nuanced cask influence. On the palate, a robust profile unfolds, initially sweet with dark berries and caramel, swiftly followed by a surge of black pepper and a refined, smoky intensity. The texture is rich and oily, coating the mouth. The finish is remarkably long and warming, echoing the maritime character with lingering notes of sea salt, white pepper, and a gentle, persistent wisp of bonfire smoke.
