« Pyrrhus » is a Greek warrior whose victories alternated with defeats — the name the domaine gives its armistice cuvée, uniting the favourite apple variety of each of three Lesuffleur generations in equal parts, « thus avoiding a new dynastic conflict ».
One third comes from just four ancient high-branch trees planted by the grandfather. When the harvest allows it at all, production peaks at roughly 200 bottles a year — this is the rarest bottle the domaine makes.
