Chateau Beychevelle is located in Saint-Julien on the left bank of Bordeaux, adjacent to the town of Beychevelle, adjacent to Chateau St Pierre and Chateau Gloria . In the 1855 Medoc (Medoc) classification assessment, Dragon Boat Manor was rated as a fourth-level winery. Dragon Boat Manor was first known for producing extremely delicate, elegant and smooth wines. Now due to the addition of more red wines during blending Cabernet Sauvignon (Cabernet Sauvignon), the wine has become richer and more complex. In addition, the winery's imperial architecture and luxurious flower beds are the focus of attention. Dragon Boat Manor has a history of nearly 400 years. In the 15th century, the winery was owned by the Grailly family. In 1446, the estate was passed to the wealthy and powerful Foix de Candale, when it was known as the Chateau de Medoc. In 1587, Miss Marguerite, a descendant of the family, married the then Governor of Bordeaux, Duke D'Epernon (Duc D'Epernon), and the winery was transferred to the family of Duke D'Epernon as her dowry. The Duke of de Penon had a successful official career and was highly regarded by the French King Henry III (Henry III). Later, he became the commander-in-chief of the French Navy, with power and limelight. The commander-in-chief and his wife always live in the winery. For this reason, Dragon Boat Manor built a luxurious castle and back garden. This castle is the largest among all the wineries in Bordeaux, known as the "Versailles of Bordeaux".
