Pajzos Tokaji Esszencia 2010 (1x37.5cl)

The Tokaj wine region has belonged to the UNESCO World Heritage since 2002. Wines created here have a distinct minerality and a wonderful acidity. In the 16th century, Tokaji wines became the favoured drink at the royal Hungarian court and the ruling families of Europe. Louis XIVth also regarded it as simply the “king of wines”. On this south-, southwest-facing land of Pajzos Vineyard with excellent attributes, the ground has excellent heat-retaining properties with grapes ripen beautifully and become supreme aszú berries. Thanks to the humidity of that area, Botrytis is developed with lovely  characteristics. The Pajzos Esszencia 2010 exhibits a golden colour. The nose shows very complex aromas of fresh apricot, honey, acid drop candy, that come along with hints of candied ginger and Earl Grey. Mouthcoating and salivating on the palate, the apricot tart, white peach and lemon are completed by cardamon flavours. It is a wine of great balance, offering an endless and creamy finish.
