89 Stephen Tanzer - Vinous
Deep red. Aromatic nose combines plum, truffle, iron and mint. Supple and broad in the mouth, with slightly medicinal black and blue fruit flavors complicated by smoke, meat and black olive. Plump and soft for this wine, but with solid tannic support. A good showing.
