Tempranillo, native to Spain, remains a minority variety in Australia. Typical character: red cherry, leather and dried herbs, medium tannin and good acidity. A single-vineyard bottling means no blending.
What to Expect
⭐ Thirteen years in bottle. You are buying a wine that has already completed most of its transformation — fruit has moved to the background and leather and earth have come forward. This is not "old", it is "resolved" — but if bright fruit is what you enjoy, it is the wrong bottle. Aged bottlings of minority varieties are genuinely hard to find in Hong Kong.

16–17°C, decant 30 minutes only — mature wine tires with too much air. Cured ham, braises, aged cheese. Best over the next 3–5 years.
