勃艮第

勃艮第分級分的是土地，不是酒莊。全區共 84 個 AOC：7 個地區級、44 個村莊級、33 個特級園。一級園並不是獨立的 AOC——一級園是村莊級法定產區之內一塊有名字的 climat，所以酒標會寫「Meursault Premier Cru Les Perrières」，而不是單獨一個「Les Perrières」。

大家最容易低估的一點是：這套階梯是一幅地圖，不是釀酒師的排名。一塊特級園通常由多位業主分持，同一個法定產區落到杯裡的狀態可以差很遠，分別在於酒標下面署的是誰的名。在勃艮第，看酒農要看得跟看葡萄園一樣仔細。
